A short talk followed by a workshop, run by Beeker Northam and Chris Heathcote of Dentsu London.
The technology that we’ve become accustomed to in our pockets and homes is being installed in public – cameras, screens, projectors & sensors, all networked together.
Does this change the way we live in and use the city? Can the needs and rights of citizens be incorporated into commercial, media and governmental networks as they sense and make sense of the world? Will we create new ways of interacting with infrastructure and architecture?
We'll look at current best practice, some of the problems and benefits, and design together the technology, media and products that we want to see in our cities.
The talk and workshop will take place at Dentsu London’s office.
